Ghost is right. Gotta say though, the Easy Wind is mighty fine. Wasn't the day before the show that should have come out?

I have said time and again that Vault releases should be entirely turned over to me but nobody listens. I am possibly the only person who could keep everyone happy. All Phil wants me to do is paint.

Seriously, more dialogue with us unwashed couldn't hurt. Always thought Latvala had nothing but contempt for us and look at the utter crap he released (nope won't tell ya---don't wanna fight). Only sheer bloody-mindedness prevents a pristine Cornell from coming out. Only spite gave us that MSG '83 release. But I have high hopes for Rhino---hope they have at least one person there who's got it all together. There have been sublime releases from that company.

Got it. Got it. Got it. Need it. Got it. Need it.

Sydout

Always got the impression Latvala thought his words were gold.

Cornell is not in the Vault. Those Betty boards were purchased at an auction from her storage facility, so ownership of same is a matter for legal debate. Theoretically, Betty owned the tape while the band holds the primary rights. Now that the tape has been circulated--big mess.

I keep hearing that Cornell is not in the vault, yet an HDCD version of Dancin' from that date is a bonus track on the remastered Terrapin, so clearly they have access to the tapes. ???
